WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOUR TEACHERS HAVE?
Our team of native English teachers are all university graduates with TEFL qualifications. Along with this, they all possess extensive teaching experience.
To teach a Funwins class our teachers have to be extremely energetic, charismatic and engaging!
WHERE DO THE CLASSES TAKE PLACE?
At Funwins Education we pride ourselves on being a fluid private education firm! Not limited to one space, there are multiple options where students can learn with us. Our partnerships throughout HK provide us with exclusive local locations where we hold group classes. Our online lessons take place over Zoom and for private classes, our tutors can travel to your chosen location.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD NEEDS TUTORING?
The teacher assigned will conduct an assessment of your child's English ability and the areas in which need to be improved. Private tutoring with Funwins Education will help relieve any anxieties by giving the student a jump start on their academic experience by exposing them to engaging and enjoyable learning activities.
HOW MANY HOURS PER WEEK SHOULD I HAVE MY CHILD TUTORED?
This will depend on the teacher's assessment of your child. They will make suggestions on the specific areas of need and Funwins will communicate with you to find the most suitable number of classes per week.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD AND I EXPECT FROM THE FIRST ClASS?
The first class will be used to assess the general skill level and personality of the student. This will ensure good use of succeeding lessons. The initial meeting will be used to “break the ice” between the teacher and student allowing them to get to know each other before tutoring starts and the correct course is established.
DOES PRIVATE TEACHING REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Yes. We have found that it has no equal in its effectiveness when there is a real educational relationship between the student and the teacher.
Our private students find that learning becomes stimulating and more enjoyable and their desire to achieve their full potential becomes reinforced. The student also becomes more proficient in absorbing material presented in the regular school classroom.
Students are more likely to ask questions or to listen carefully to a concept being explained in a private lesson. Often, we typically see that grades will improve quickly and dramatically. Private tutoring never fails to help a student progress if the student is determined to learn.
DO YOU PROVIDE ONGOING ASSESSMENTS FOR MY CHILD?
Your teacher will give regular updates on how each class is going and the progress of the student. Frequently you will receive a detailed report on the work studied, how they have improved and the potential areas in which need more focus.
